Frank P. Novel, Vice President and Director of the Holding Company, Principal and Director of the Investment Bank, and President, Director, and Trust Officer for the Bank. Mr. Novel was involved in the founding of the Holding Company, as well as its subsidiary Bank, Investment Bank, and Insurance Agency. Mr. Novel has more than 40 years of banking and regulatory experience between his six years as a bank examiner with the FDIC and positions as president of three different banks. Mr. Novel holds a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University, a graduate degree from the Rutgers University School of Banking and is a member of the Union League Club where he sits on the both the Finance and Art Committee. He is a Certified Treasury Professional® and holds his series 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses.
Paul F. Manzano, member of the Metropolitan Capital Investment Banc team since 2010 and currently a Managing Director. He has more than 20 years of executive management and investment banking experience representing and advising investors, companies, developers and acquirers in connection with all phases of investment, corporate strategy, business development, origination and closing for M&A and corporate finance transactions. Prior to Metropolitan Capital, Mr. Manzano worked at several Wall Street investment banking firms, including Pali Capital, Inc., where he was a Managing Director in their New York office. He was also a Managing Director at Core Capital Advisors, a New York-based investment bank focused on the clean tech sector. Mr. Manzano served on the executive teams of several technology companies, including EVO Knowledge, which he co-founded and eventually led as CEO. Earlier in his career, Mr. Manzano was a transactional attorney with the Family Office Enterprise Planning Practice of Handler Thayer, LLC, focusing on asset protection strategies, corporate finance and M&A transactions for family offices with net worths ranging from $50MM to $4B. He also worked at William Blair & Company, LLC. Mr. Manzano received a B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University, and received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees concurrently from the University of Washington in Seattle. He holds his Series 7, 63, and 79 securities licenses.
